About the company:

OrthoTreat is a pre-clinical pharma company developing a first-in-class drug platform designed to accelerate bone regeneration, reduce complications, and improve patient outcomes in fracture healing and orthopedic procedures.

Job description:

We’re looking for a Vice President of R&D – an experienced, execution-driven leader with a proven track record in biotech or pharmaceutical drug development (10+ years). This is a unique opportunity to help shape a breakthrough therapy that addresses a significant unmet need in orthopedic care.

✅ Strong leadership in preclinical, CMC, and IND-enabling programs.
✅ Experience managing external vendors (CROs, CDMOs, consultants).
✅ Ability to translate complex science into actionable development plans.
✅ Hands-on approach, comfortable driving execution in a lean environment.
✅ Proven experience navigating the path from discovery to IND submission and supporting early clinical development.
✅ Knowledge of bone physiology, mechanics and models is an advantage.
– PhD a plus, MsC with relevant experience will also be considered
– ⁠Experience with bone models a plus

🎯 Own the scientific execution of our product development pipeline.
🎯 Manage external partners and cross-functional collaboration (regulatory, clinical, business).
🎯 Play a key role in advancing our lead product toward human clinical trials.
