Job description:

Aleph Farms is expanding and looking for a Space Biology Scientist to join the team at the company’s Rehovot site. The scientist will lead experimental projects as part of the company's space program, Aleph Zero, which explores the production of cultivated meat, independently of climate or availability of natural resources.

Required qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology, Biochemistry or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell cultures
  • Experience in the cell-culture industy is an advantage
  • Experience with stem cell biology or space biology is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a collaborative group, as well as independently, on R&D projects
  • Plan and execute lab research, as well as curate and report results
