Job description:

The Zeevi Lab at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at the Weizmann Institute is looking for a Senior Lab Technician. The position includes the development of DNA extraction and sequencing capabilities using lab automation, managing procurement and guiding students. Required qualifications:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in microbiology or a similar field.
• Expertise in DNA, RNA and metabolite extraction.
• Expertise in DNA sequencing.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and mentoring skills.
