Job description:

DeepCure is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Robotic and Laboratory Automation Specialist to join our newly founded Israel team and to lead the formation of our visionary automated drug discovery laboratory. In this role, you will lead the design, buildout, and operation of our new automated laboratory that spans chemistry, biology, and sample management. These platforms will be pivotal in accelerating our rapidly growing portfolio of Drug Discovery projects. You will be responsible for evaluating and developing robotic solutions, and you will work alongside software engineers and scientists to enable an end-to-end integrated workflow. You will have the opportunity to build a team as required and use the latest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to deliver and innovate in this space.

This is a strategic growth area of critical importance for DeepCure. In this position, you will have fantastic support from a team of outstanding scientists and AI experts along with dedicated facilities. You will also be able to interact with project teams and see the real-world impact across our portfolio of drug discovery projects to benefit patients.

Required qualifications:

3+ years of industry experience
Detailed knowledge of automated laboratory technologies, including solid/liquid handling platforms and parallel reactors
Experience in building integrated synthesis or screening platforms
Background and experience in drug discovery particularly chemistry or biology
A proven track record of approaching and solving complex problems
Innovation with an open-minded attitude to drug discovery technologies and enthusiasm to challenge the status quo
Experience and passion for working in high performing teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Hiring level commensurate with experience
