Job description:

Leading research in the area of applied remote sensing under atmospheric conditions. The core of the activity is physical research concerning various problems, and finding concepts for solutions: from the stage of the initial idea, through examination of alternatives, up to implementation of a leading idea and the creation of a prototype.
The job includes carrying out experiments and analyzing them, teamwork, and ongoing interaction with signal / image processing researchers in order to examine an algorithmic solution to the research problem.

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in applied physics / electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in electro-optics.
• Experience in deploying a measurement system, and carrying out experiments.
• Experience in writing programs of physical system analysis, simulations and operational research.
• Knowledge in signal / image processing – advantage.
• Knowledge in system engineering – advantage.
