Job description:

A biotech company located in Rehovot is seeking for a product specialist. The company specializes in automated imaging systems and image analysis software for the academic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support to company’s prospects and customers, including product demonstrations, user training, scientific support, technical support and troubleshooting.
• Support company’s R&D department as required from time to time in order to reflect the user and customer's point of view and contribute to the success of next generation products.
• Test and validate next generation products and products versions release, identify faults in the hardware and software, and test newly developed solutions.

Required qualifications:

Requirements:

• PHD in life science, biomedical science or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of light microscopy and fluorescence microscopy
• Knowledge and understanding of quantitative image analysis
• Experience with hands-on cell-based assays
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
• Abroad traveling availability is essential for this job

Advantages:

• Knowledge in algorithms for image analysis of biological samples
• Experience in wet lab work with biological culture models, such as zebrafish, spheroids, organoids
• Hands-on experience in light microscopy
