Academic affairs and Networks (AAN) is a team within Teva's Global R&D, with a mission to identify and manage strategic academic collaborations and connection to seed innovation in Teva and help build Teva's future drug discovery and preclinical assessment of novel therapeutics.
The post doc that will be part of a team managing one or more projects in the field of organoids in the oncology field as part of OrganoSpheres a national industry-academia consortium funded by the Israeli Innovation Authority. The post doc will work on ex-vivo organoids systems as well as analyze data, present new results and conduct scientific discussions with external partners and groups within Teva.
How you’ll spend your day:
The post doc will and will be required to have high expertise and experience in organoids and specifically in the field of cancer (very strong background in immunology is a must).
The main tasks will be:
• Performing ex-vivo studies of human organoids, FACs, staining, RNA-seq experience.
• Read and analyze literature, analyze and present new results
In this role, the team member is expected to demonstrate both rigorous and creative scientific and analytical breadth. Focus and accountability is required as well as flexibility in moving between projects according to needs.
