The Algorithm team within Nova’s Advanced Tech group is seeking a physicist to lead our modeling of measurement systems. This role will enable a comprehensive understanding of the performance envelope of our various tools, thereby aiding in the maturation of our tool and application portfolio and driving Nova’s growth.
We are looking for a result-oriented, fast-learning physicist with strong modeling and algorithmic capabilities. A deep technical understanding of the underlying physics is essential for this role. Responsibilities include delivering code and analyses under demanding timelines, with aspects of both individual and team work.
What You Will Be Doing:
– Interface with algorithm, hardware, system, and application groups.
Work closely with measured data.
– Deliver detailed qualitative and quantitative understanding of the full impact of tool parameters on the outcomes of the measurement process.
– Study the implications of tool performance and issues on the interpretation of physical parameters of the sample.
