Job description:

As part of our growth, we are looking to recruit an additional specialist for our Automation Team. This role will serve a key function in the Laboratory Automation and Process Development Department. The team works closely with all the research departments to automate and optimize the large variety of protocols being used and developed in the company. The role is dynamic with room for growth.

Responsibilities include:
• Automating protocols developed on the “bench”
• Working hand-in-hand with the researchers to test and validate the automated protocols
• Preparing SOPs and training manuals for the automated protocols and the use of the automated liquid handlers
• Training and assisting the lab staff in the use of the automated liquid handlers
• Assisting in troubleshooting and error handling during usage of the automated liquid handlers

Required qualifications:

Skills and qualifications:
• MSc in the Life Sciences
• Experience working in a molecular lab (NGS is a big advantage)
• Experience with scripting on automated liquid handlers is a must (Hamilton systems is a big advantage)
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
• Experience using a LIMS is a major advantage
• Strong relationship management: excellent communication and influencing skills – verbal and written – with the ability to liaise at all levels
• Tech savvy with coding skills
• Excellent project management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
