An amazing start-up, developing high-end technology at the seed stage is looking for a Fab operation manager / NanoFabrication Manager to manage and lead R&D in a new nanofabrication Facility. This position will manage the operations matters of the facility including teams constituted of world-top R&D researchers in the field, process engineers, and technicians aiming to build a revolutionary new Quantum Device technology for applications in the quantum computing market. The position will be responsible for managing and directing all wafer fab infrastructure activities including owning the production schedule, materials, and inventory control, people FAB activity routing management, quality & safety management, and leading and directing continuous improvement.

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Processing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
• 10-15 years experience in semiconductor fab processing and management with increasing levels of responsibility
• 7+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing and fabrication facility
• Experience in diverse fabrication process areas including etch, deposition, EBL / lithography, wafer bonding, and material selection
• Strong desire to play a key leadership role in communicating and owning program success both internally within the Matthews organization as well as externally when interfacing with lab facility staff and university leadership
• Demonstrated implementation of continuous improvement and quality framework and processes
• Innovative mindset that fosters exploration of unique solutions to difficult process problems that expand our ability to build successful products within different technical and product spaces.
