Job description:

Israel Tech Challenge (ITC) is looking for a Mentor to join the Data Science Day Program team
Part-Time

Responsibilities:
• Delivering lectures to the students in the program.
• Creating new materials and improving the existing lectures and exercises for the programs’ curriculum.
• Working in close cooperation with the program team such as the Program Manager and Tech Lead and taking a significant part in the program's decision-making process.
• Providing support and on-going feedback to the program students.
• Monitoring students progress and holding office hours.

Required qualifications:

Requirements:
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking) – required.
• Experience as a Data Scientist OR a strong academic research background in the Data Science field – required.
• Deep understanding of the Data Science pipeline and algorithm – required.
• A Master's or Ph.D. in a related field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics) – an advantage.
• Previous experience in teaching/instruction – an advantage.
• A flexible, open-minded, strong team player.
• Ability to work in a dynamic working environment with student success being the end goal.
• Eager to work with people, shape their skills and help them take a giant leap in their career.
• Ability to work during the day.
