Job description:
Required qualifications:
•PhD in Computational Biology, Statistical Genetics, Bioinformatics, Quantitative Genetics, Biostatistics, Human Genetics, Genetic Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
•Experience in genomic data analysis, preferably involving large biobanks like the UK Biobank.
•Experience and a solid background in statistical data analysis using Python or R
•Pharmaceutical or biotech experience – a major plus
•Familiarity with drug target discovery processes – a major plus
•Deep understanding of GWAS, TWAS, eQTLs, pQTLs, variant annotation, pathway analysis –a major plus
•Knowledge of Mendelian Randomization techniques and applications – a plus
•Post-doctorate in related fields – a plus
