Job description:

The Signal Acquisition Modeling Processing and Learning (SAMPL) Lab, headed by Prof. Yonina Eldar at the Weizmann Institute of Science, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chip Designer to join a groundbreaking project to design and develop state-of-the-art integrated circuits (ICs) based on novel board designs.

• Perform simulations, testing, and optimization of IC designs to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of novel IC architectures.
• Explore new applications of the designs.

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in RF chip design.
• Proficiency with IC design tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys) and simulation software.
• Knowledge of signal processing – an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation.
• Excellent English language skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
